Excellent dish and such an easy one, too. I also added the broccoli and it tastes excellent with it. I cut back on the spiciness because of my 18 month old, but even with just a dash of the red pepper flakes, it was spicy! It has very good flavor and the whole family enjoyed it. Thank you for this one!

This was amazing! It tasted just like something you would buy at a restaurant. Next time I would definatly double the sauce. Great recipe, thanks!

I made this tonight and it was pretty good. I made it exactly as is and was pleased with the balance of flavors, it had a little bit of heat and a little bit of sweetness and very garlic-y! I added sugar snap peas and carrots and served over brown rice and me and the hubby ate every bit! I will most likely make this again.

This is perfect when you throw in some steamed broccoli into the sauce and serve over rice.

This recipe was everything that all the reviewers said. My family are pretty big eaters so after reading the reviews I decided to increase the shrimp to 1 lb. and also added 1-1/2 lbs. of thinly sliced chicken breast. I also tossed in mushrooms and a bag of frozen broccoli florets that I pre-cooked in the microwave for 8 minutes. With the additional ingredients I also tripled the sauce. We absolutely loved it.

I thought this was very good but a tad spicy i think next time making this i will triple the sauce and only use the amount of red pepper it calls for just 4 people

Very quick and easy; I used a pound of shrimp that I had boiled right before making the sauce. For the crushed red pepper, I used paprika. I think I'll use chili powder next time, as it didn't turn out spicy at all. This dish would be great with some sauteed snow peas, onions and peppers. Great recipe!

Not sure why this wasn't a big hit at my house, I was the only one who enjoyed this, chances I won't be this making again.

This dish is absolutely delicious. If you want your guests to think you spent all day in the kitchen then serve this recipe. It is super easy and has a beautiful presentation when served over rice. Add whatever vegetables you like. I chose brocolli and a yellow pepper. You can adjust the crushed red pepper to taste. We like spice and thought the amount listed was perfect.

This was simple to make, however calling it "Szechwan" is a bit misleading. It's more like a sweet and sour. Also, I had to double the recipe to have enough sauce for four servings. It isn't a bad recipe, but likely one that I will not make again.

I really liked this - just the right amount of heat for me. I just wanted something quick for myself at my apartment, so I used 4 lbs of fresh shrimp (just cooked it in the oil and garlic before adding the sauce), added some frozen stir-fry veggies (prepared in the microwave and drained), and left the sauce recipe as is for 4 servings. it worked out great - served over steamed rice, yum!

LOVE IT! My only complaint is that there wasn't even close to enough of this sauce. ( I guess I like my rice covered with sauce) My only substitute was fresh ginger instead of ground ginger to really punched up the flavour.

This dish was quite tasty. I would recommend this dish again and again. It was easy to prepare and literally took a total of 20 Minutes. I used steamed fresh shrimp first and then followed the recipe exactly. Very good. Thanks for submitting.

not that good. the flavor was like a glorified cocktail sauce. it was simple and edible, so it gets three

This recipe was extremely easy to make!! I doubled the sauce and served with jazmin rice and steamed broccoli and carrots. We loved it! I will try to make this with chicken as well, for a healthier alternative.

I tried this last night. The family ate it but the sauce wasn't so great to me. I did follow the recipe exactly as written but don't think I got great results. I was ok I think I might make the sauce a day ahead of time next time I try this.
