I roasted the peppers myself. Easy and SO good! It is a bit spicy, so be sure to adjust to your own taste.

Great! made it in my magic bullet!! ^_^ I didn't have tahini so I just ground up some roasted sesame seeds (I'm korean so that stuff is ALways around) and added a little sesame oil. I roasted my own pepper but think I'll skip that part next time.. I added the roasted pepper last and LOOOOOVED how the hummus tasted before i put it in - after I put the red pepper in, i thought the hummus was just "good" BUT i think that was my fault for roasting my own pepper and not following the directions.

This is so yummy, just like the ones you'd buy at the market, and so easy to throw together. Inexpensive too if you take a little extra time to roast your own bellpeppers. I didn't have any tahini, and I've never had it before, so I'm not sure what it adds to the hummus. But I still thought it was delicious, and so did my guests!

Made a double batch based on reviews. Also included basil from one of the other recipes. Seemed good up until I added the cayenne which made it come out so hot it was almost inedible. 2 stars. Perhaps almost no cayenne and some olive oil.

This has become a staple for me that I make all the time. I triple the recipe, mix in a food processor, and store in multiple small tupperware containers (freezing when necessary to preserve). I add roasted jalapenos to give it a bit more kick, and mix in cilantro instead of parsley. Sometimes I throw in dashes of soy sauce and/or Worchestershire. It's a bit different each time, but I love it each time.

This was my first time making hummus and it turned out great. I did roast my own peppers and I also added some olive oil for a smoother texture. Not sure is olive oil is traditionally in hummus but it wonderful.

Perfect! I didn't change a thing except to double it! Very well-seasoned.

Wow! this is a great recipe-I served it with veggies for a light summer meal. I used 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper and 1/4 tsp new mexico chilli pepper to give it a full flavour with a little less bite. Will definitely be making this again!

I used 12 oz of peppers for a double batch, and it turned out great! Served with two kinds of pita chips- garlic and sea salt.

I made this on my lunch break - it's that easy - and took it into work. My co-workers said it was the best hummus they had every had.

Much more delicious and economical than buying hummus from the store! I roasted one whole fresh red pepper in the oven instead of using a jar of peppers. Also removed the skins from the chickpeas. Seasoned with cumin, cayenne, and salt. Had such a creamy but kind of whipped texture. Perfect!

Excellent! I used roasted red and yellow peppers from Trader Joe's, added a little bit more garlic (for my taste). The only thing I will change when I make it again, is to add some of the juice from the garbonza beans to smooth it out. Ate this for breakfast and lunch w/ Soy and Flaxseed tortilla chips from Trader Joe's! Thanks for such a great recipe!!!
