Maple Teriyaki Salmon Fillets
SUBMITTED BY:
Kathy Schrecengost
"Maple syrup and apple juice provide the mildly sweet marinade for these salmon fillets. Whether they are broiled or grilled, the fillets glaze nicely when basted. Everyone I've served this to seems to love it. --Kathy Schrecengost Oswego, New York"

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Remove 1/2 cup for basting; cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining marinade into a large resealable plastic bag. Add salmon; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 1-3 hours.
Drain and discard marinade. Broil salmon 4-in. from the heat for 5 minutes. Baste with reserved marinade. Broil 10 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with fork, basting frequently.

This is our favorite salmon recipe now. I have made it several times for company, it always get rave reviews and recipe requests. Wonderful flavor with very little work. Tastes like an entree from a fancy restaurant. Even my picky teenagers liked it.

Simple and sweet. The kids enjoyed it too. I have made this recipe a couple times. The second time I substituted garlic and onion powder instead of the minced version. The glaze cooked on the stovetop, reduces down nicely for a sauce over white rice.

Very easy and great tasting! I would make twice as much sauce, because it's so good. I had a 1-pound fillet and broiled it between 5-10 minutes.

Sorry, I found this very bland and the sauce very runny. Basically, no flavor. Would not make again.
