We are a family of salmon lovers. This recipe was awesome, easy! I used salmon with the skins on so they didn't really absorb a lot of the sauce during the marinating time. I did baste them with the marinade a couple of times during the baking time and this worked out perfectly. I didn't have garlic salt but I did use one very large garlic clove. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

We live in salmon country, and I've cooked it many ways . . .this is by far the one recipe my family requests over and over. Regardless of what others have said, I think a longer marinade (more like an hour if the salmon is thicker) in the fridge enhances the garlic flavor in the recipe. And as others have pointed out--every piece of salmon should be checked thoroughly--maybe less than 20 minutes, maybe more. Thanks for the recipe--it's a keeper!

I wasn't very fond of the texture of the salmon when baked with the sauce as it instructs. I prefer a crisp crust.

Very good. My kids love it. I spiced this up for my husband and me. I just used maple syrup, low sodium soy sauce and added 1 T of chilie garlic sauce (the kind from asian markets)and eliminated all the other ingredients. It was excellent.

It was very tasty. Even my 2 and 5 year old like it. I did not add any salt, or garlic salt. But I did use 2 cloves of garlic. I also marinated it for 2 hours. It was great! Definitely a repeater. Thanks for helping me get my children to eat fish!

This is the recipe that converted me to salmon! I haven't eaten fish for about 10 years now, and after making this recipe a bunch of times, I now look for excuses to eat salmon at restaurants and at home! I want some right now just thinking about it...

Perfect salmon marinade. I have also added a little balsamic vinegar with excellent results. The fish is best enjoyed when grilled on a cedar plank. The marinade caramelizes on the fish and the wood gives a smoky taste.

I thought this tasted WAY too much like maple - I know it's in the name, but I thought with the soy sauce and garlic it would have more of an Asian flair. Definately won't be making again - sorry.

Sorry, but we did not care for this recipe!.. I don't think that sweet goes best with fish!... The reviews were promising since so many others liked it, I guess it just wasn't for us! I'll stick to my dill butter on salmon, or another recipe on this website "Hudsons baked Tilapia" has a delicious dill sauce that pairs well with salmon.

Excellent recipe! I actually did not have time to put this in the oven as I was roasting vegetables; however, I did put this in the skillet over medium heat and it was delicious! Loved the flavor! Thank you...
