About me:
I'm a nut in the kitchen. I love baking bread and cookies. Some of my fondest memories are of my grandmother in the kitchen on Saturday mornings making her beloved Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. I hope to follow in her footsteps and learn to perfect her recipe.

Chocolate Oil Cake

Reviewed on Oct. 23, 2008 by Carrie
I made this cake today, for dessert tonight. It is FANTASTIC! so fluffy and light... and rich! it is very yummy, easy, and fast to make. I followed the directions completely, with the exception that I added a bit more salt. I paired it with whip cream, sliced strawberries, and blueberries. I highly reccommend this recipe.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed on Jul. 24, 2008 by springergirl67
This was really good! Although, I put more strawberries and rhubarb than what it called for because I picked WAY too much rhubarb out of my garden and had to improvise! The topping was great too! It didn't stay in my refrigerator long!!!

Pork Tacos

Reviewed on Apr. 24, 2008 by Aimee
We made this one night when all we had was odds and ends to put together and it turned out real well. Not spicy at all which was good when 7mths pregnant. I thought it had good flavor and I really like the combination of everything together. My husband wants to add more spice next time. yumyum!
