Fantastic. I also added about another 1/3 cup of cilantro for added flavor.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
Good but not great. Doubling the eggs is a must or else you'll get one stiff casserole. I made it to a T the first time - too stiff and too much hash browns. The 2nd time, I doubled the eggs and used only 3 cups of hash browns. This yielded a more tender casserole. Using sausage in the casserole and sprinkling chopped cooked bacon on top makes a tasty and good looking dish. I will make again with the revisions.

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
This is good, but the second time I used 50/50 shortening and butter and it was sublime! The shortening gave this crust amazingly flaky layers, just add another pinch of salt since the shortening isn't salted.

Baba Ghanoush

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
Great recipe except for one thing - ROAST the garlic instead of adding raw minced garlic, which can completely overpower the eggplant. Roast the garlic along with the eggplant. The roasted garlic will be milder and sweeter, so you can add more - I add about 5-7 cloves of the roasted garlic. I also add chopped parsley to the dip for more color and flavor. Use a hand-held immersion blender if you have one. This dip taste best after it sits overnight for the flavors to meld and will keep for a good 3 days. Serve with pita chip!

Pumpkin Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2008
I only used 1 cup of the powdered sugar. I didn't have orange juice or pumpkin pie spice on hand. I used 1 tsp of vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. I was a hit at work. I served with red and granny smith apple slices, gingersnaps, and cinnamon graham crackers. The granny smith apples were the best!

Pumpkin Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
I didn't use pecans in the topping. I also didn't use sour cream, pumpkin pie spice, or a 8" round pan. I used 1 cup of the canned pumpkin pie, for the pumpkin pie spice I used 1 tsp cin. and 1 tsp nutmeg. I also used a 8" square pan.

Banana-Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
I brought this to work and everyone said it was good. Due to allergies I didn't put in the walnuts. I also didn't put in the cranberries. I think it could have used a little more spice like nutmeg.

Original Nestle® Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
These cookies will always be the best!! I always make mine a LITTLE different.. I used 1 crisco butter flavored stick, 2 cups of flour and no nuts.. I cook at 350 degrees and always preheat the oven with the cookie sheet inside so you start off with a warm pan!!

These turned out really good. I also used some another users suggestions. 1/2 C sugar, 1/2 C brown sugar, one packet vanilla pudding mix, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1/2 tsp baking soda. Tasted great!

This is a lot of fun to make and my daughter loves it. I like to use jello colors that go along w/season and holidays.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2008
This was a really great and simple recipe as is!! No need to make any changes unless you wanted to add more veggies. I doubled the sauce as recommended so you had some for the rice and it was great!
