Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This recipe is fail proof. I used butter flavored crisco, self rising flour (was out of all purpose), and brown sugar and it still turned out perfect. I made 1 loaf and then with the rest of the batter I threw in a cup of chocolate chips and made muffins. The muffins only took about 25 minutes to bake up. Since I used self rising flour, I omitted the salt, and only added 1 tsp of baking powder. Overall, a great recipe, and I really like that you don't have to have the exact ingredients...makes it easier to make on the fly.

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
made this exactly as written and thought it a tad too oily. Next time i will cut down on the oil but the rest of it was great. I'm a huge fan of garlic and Parm. cheese so who can go wrong with that?!

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
Butter. Its what's for dinner. But seriously, this type of soup is supposed to be very rich and I think this is a pretty good recipe. However this: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Hungarian-Mushroom-Soup/ I think is a much better one and adds subtle flavors such as lemon (for tangyness), soy sauce, and paprika. It's also somewhat lighter in fats than this variation.

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
I'm on a low carb, low fat, high protein diet, and this fit the bill. Tastes great, and really healthy. The only downside is the amount of cheese. It makes for really good eatin', but it almost counters the low fat of the turkey. I just cut back the cheese a little and I was good to go. Good food. MAKE IT!

Hummus Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
This was very good. I would reccomend cutting the hummus to 3/4 cup. It was just a little too much. The hummus gives most of the flavor so make sure you are using a good hummus otherwise you probably won't care for this.

These were awsome! Not healthy enough to have often but a wonderful special treat. They would be great wrapped in a tortilla.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
This is so easy and so good. I used all the cream cheese mixture cause we love cream cheese. I didn't pour on the butter tho, I just used a small amount and brushed it on then put the cinnamon sugar on top and it came out perfect. It's so good it doesn't last long.

Garlic Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
Loved it! This sauce is very verstile, I think it would have been good over baked fish or as a stir fry too. Hubby said it reminded him of something he would get at his favorite Asian restaurant, PF Changs.
