Tuna Pasta Salad with Dill

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
DELICIOUS! Perfect for a warm, sunny California spring, summer, fall, or even winter! I didn't have any milk so I left it out and I substituted Jalapeno juice for pickle juice. It was a bit too "dilly" but still delicious!

Quick Eggplant Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
i agree with "grammy" below completely. my first time making eggplant parmesan and it was so easy! it was delicious, too. my only problem was the breadcrumbs kind of fell off and consequently got charred despite my trying to scoop them out of the pan - that isn't a fault of the recipe as much as user error, haha. hummy totally loved it so its goes in the keeper box.

Mexican Baked Fish

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Didn't really like this, but I think I should have used chunkier salsa. A couple things went wrong with the way I made it, I think, and it just didn't come out as I had imagined.

Grilled Cabbage I

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I love this! I spread a little bit of olive oil instead of the butter, and since I make one wedge at a time for myself, I don't need the ice cube. It still comes out great and I've made this many times since trying it the first time!

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
So good! I used instant potatoes and canned roast beef in broth for substitues. Though it took me a long time to make, it was excellent and I look forward to making this again!

This was so good! I made the sauce using the exact recipe and it came out absolutely great! My boyfriend and I both loved it. I will definitely make this again!

I didn't like pumpkin seeds before trying this recipe, and now I can't wait for next Halloween!

Grandma's Sweet Slaw

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This was my first attempt at making cole slaw and it came out very well! I used a review's suggestion and used 1/4 cup salad dressing and 1/4 cup mayonnaise, instead of the full 1/2 cup mayonnaise. I also used a little bit of lemon juice and white and black peppers. Turned out fine, will use this recipe again!

Easy Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
We loved this recipe! I used a pork tenderloin and rubbed it with some cinnamon, ginger, and brown sugar. I injected the loin with the applesauce and used a little bit of maple syrup, too. I also basted it with the applesauce occasionally throughout cooking. I cooked this on a rotisserie and it came out great! I will definitely make this again.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
This recipe is very simple and delicious. I opted for one block of cream cheese and that worked for our taste. My husband practically licked his bowl! We will definitely make this soup again.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
Fantastic recipe! I made this for a party and it was well recieved. Tasted exactly like jalapeno poppers! Only thing I changed was that I used the whole can of jalapenos and mixed the parm cheese with panko bread crumbs which created a nice crust. Next time, I would add more peppers, we all felt it was not spicy enough.

Chris's Incredible Italian Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
definitely yummers! easily halved the recipe -- just scale for 3 instead of 6. (btw, 2 italian sausages equal half a pound. i used jennie-o turkey italian links) beside that i followed the recipe exactly, well, except i didn't use any milk. oh, and i sauteed the onion & fresh garlic instead of using powder --the texture was perfect, the taste outstanding. my family loved it. i'm looking forward to a sammie for lunch! yum
