Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed on Nov. 1, 2008 by patty crocker
This is the first time I've ever made scones. I needed something to take to work for an early meeting and had everything on hand for these. I replaced the raisins with craisins and sliced almonds, added a couple drops of almond extract, and sprinkled course sugar on top before baking. These were gone within 30 minutes!!! I got compliments all day long and many asked when I was going to bring them again. What a great recipe!!!!! A definite keeper and I'm sure I'll make them many times over.

Amy's Sensational Summer Salad

Reviewed on Oct. 6, 2008 by John
So many times I read other reviews for recipies on this site and they always tell you everything that they did different or tell you about the items that they changed. While those tips are usualy helpful, I looked at this recipie and decided to make it as it is stated. Wow - I am glad that I stuck to the recipie. This dish had a great blen of flavors going on that was a real treat for my senses.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed on Sep. 24, 2008 by Cody's Mama
I found the recipe to be a little on the bland side. The "Garlic" in the title is misleading. I have another chicken fried chicken recipe I will continue to use.
