Tortillas I

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
These are awesome! Better than the store bought kind, nice and tender. Next time I make them I'm going to use bigger dough balls to get bigger tortillas. Yum definitely try these!

Chicken In a Tarragon Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Should have been a 5 star but I added some scallops, crab meat and shrimp to the sauce. The added liquid made it more of a gravy. Deserves a 5 star for flavour. Well received by guests.

Curried Chicken with Mango Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Guests felt it could have used more curry. I would have liked more sweetness. But overall it was well received and will make again.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

This is my familys favorite for the last 2 Thanksgivings in a row. It's great to make this while the turkey is in the oven. It tastes wonderful & not at all salty.

My family serves this alongside pork chops or thick slices of ham. I substitute half the butter for 8oz of cream cheese!

This is incredibly easy to make for being so delicious! I took it out of the oven after about 40 minutes and it turned out perfectly. It is definitely like a cherry cobbler.

Cauliflower Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
I wasn't feeling well and needed something quick to serve my family alongside grilled cheese. We loved this! Because there's seven of us I used two family-sized cans of soup. I used 3 cups of water and 3 cups of chicken broth. I only used 1/2 of a cauliflower, cut thin to match the leek, and it was plenty! I ended up omitting the dill and salt but did add 2 cloves of minced garlic with the leek. Will make this often!

White Bean and Artichoke Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
I tried this recipe two weeks ago for dinner. It was a hit! I love basil, so I added a bit more than was called for. I also added a bit of red wine vinegar for balance. Everyone wanted some of this salad to take home. Fortunately, I had enough! :0)
